Our conference center has just been Green Key certified for the third consecutive year. This requires us to meet a set of strict environmental requirements. We do, and we take pride in it.
We work with many aspects of sustainability. We are thus part of the UN’s Global Compact, where we commit to integrating principles such as environmental ones into our strategy and operations – thereby contributing to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
We specifically focus on Goal 7 ‘Affordable and Clean Energy’ and Goal 12 ‘Responsible Consumption and Production.’ Among our initiatives are solar panels, LED lighting, biodiversity, reduction of food waste, and waste sorting.
We continuously work on initiatives to make WTC Ballerup even more sustainable.
